ear Tibians!
The second feature teaser is about an expansion of the Cyclopedia and caters especially to the curious and those fascinated by numbers. It is also for anyone interested in exploring the intrinsic values of magic and combat strength.
First, let us discuss your combat power. As Combat Stats in the Cyclopedia have expanded significantly in recent years due to updates and new features, organising them more effectively will help improve clarity. You can gain deeper insights into your combat statistics in the Cyclopedia under the "Character/General Stats" tab. Three new subsections have been added to this area to replace the "Combat Stats" tab: Offence Stats, Defence Stats, and Misc. Stats.
The following values can now be displayed in the respective subsections:
Offence | Defence | Misc. |
|
|
|
Please note that Ruse, Momentum, Onslaught, Transcendence, Amplification, Drome potions, Drome potion cooldowns, Perfect Shot, Cleave, and Damage Reflection will not be displayed if their values remain unmodified and are 0. However, resistances to physical, earth, fire, holy, ice, and death will always be displayed, even if their value is 0.
The new subsections now give a bit more insight on how values are calculated and the factors that influence them. Additionally, new tooltips have been added to provide more clarity and understanding. Finally, the Skill widget has been expanded to include the new data from the Cyclopedia, ensuring that the information is readily accessible.
The second enhancement of the Cyclopedia is the Magical Archive: By clicking on the "Magical Archive" tab in the Cyclopedia you can find a spell list on the left side that allows players to find all spells and runes in the game. This list can be searched using a text field or the filter with various options. Spells that the character has not yet learned are greyed out. Using the "Assign Spell to Action Bar" button below, the selected spell can be assigned directly to an action bar.
The right side of the UI displays detailed spell information such as the icon, name, formula, vocation, and level requirements. You can also switch between tabs for "Combat Stats" and "Additional" spell information. For "Rune Spells", a third tab provides crafting details.
The "Combat Stats" include a graphical visualisation of the spell, along with details such as its mana cost, spell group, base power, damage scaling, cooldown, group cooldown, damage type, and range. It is important to note that the newly introduced base power metric will allow comparisons of the base attack or healing power of spells within a vocation.
The "Additional" tab displays the price, source, cities (where the spell can be learned), and an enhanced description with interesting details about the spell.
The "Rune Spell" tab provides information about crafting the rune, including mana cost, spell group, level restriction, quantity, cooldown, group cooldown, and vocations that are able to create the rune.
Finally, we have made the "Assign Spell to Action Button" dialogue more user-friendly. You can now search both spell names and formulas, and the dialogue size has been increased to show more spells, with added columns displaying spell group icons and unlock levels.
Please note that the Magical Archive tab in the Cyclopedia will only be available in the regular Tibia client. The legacy client will no longer support this feature.
We hope these convenience features are welcome additions.
Have fun exploring!
