Solution for Unaccessible Accounts (Updated)
Sep 26 2003 CEST
he web interface for recovering unaccessible accounts is now online. As you know, we were forced to set new passwords for all Tibia accounts because of the hacking attack and sent them to the registered email addresses. Those of you who were unable to receive the new passwords can now use the web interface to specify a new email address where we can send the password to.
Note that hacking accounts is a crime as well as providing lists of stolen passwords. We will prosecute all those delicts. As several old passwords already have been published, we ask all players to immediately change their passwords if they used the same password for any other internet service.
The web interface will be available until Monday, October 6th. We will collect all data and send you the new password
after that period if we are convinced that you are the rightful owner. We will not offer any individual email support regarding lost accounts during that time, so please do not send us any emails. Of course you can send us a copy of your passport (by postal services) to immediately regain access to your account - provided that you have personalised it. We ask all players who have access to their accounts to log in (at least on the website) so that we can see how many accounts are still unaccessible. Thank you!
Kind regards,
Your CipSoft Team
