e would like to inform you about two new positions that have been introduced to Tibia recently. Former senior gamemasters who are employees of CipSoft are now called Customer Support. All other senior gamemasters that do not work for CipSoft have become normal gamemasters. The position of senior gamemasters has been closed. This means, if you would like to complain about a banishment of a normal gamemaster via the complaint function in your account and you wish to contact a superior, your complaint will be answered by an employee of CipSoft and not a senior gamemaster anymore.
Along with this information, we would like to introduce a new employee to you. GM Tavaren started to work for CipSoft on July 1st, 2005.

The other position that has been opened is that of a Senator. CipSoft may offer retired gamemasters, counsellors or long-term tutors who have served the community well this honorable title. Senators have an advisory function, but are regarded as regular players in all other respects. Please note that the decision as to whether or not a former helper is invited to become a senator rests with CipSoft.

We would also like to give you a small preview about the next steps we are going to take in improving the quality of rule enforcement in Tibia. We will soon introduce a completely new board moderation system to ensure a much better level of quality of our forum. Further, we are working on a number of measures against cheating which will be installed with the next game update. Of course we will give you more information about these steps when they are about to be introduced.
