Hints for Your Email Account

e occasionally get emails from players that do not receive their passwords when signing up for Tibia or when requesting a new password for an existing account. For this reason we would like to give you some important advice concerning the handling of your email account. Some free email providers, including hotmail, require their customers to activate newly created email accounts before using them. New email accounts by these providers cannot be used unless their holders have logged in at least once, and no mail that is sent to such addresses will reach its destination. For this reason you should make sure to log into newly created email accounts at least once
before signing up for a Tibia account.
In addition, we recommend you use your email account regularly. Email accounts provided by free email providers are usually deactivated automatically if they are not used for a longer period of time. Remember that you may not be able to recover a lost Tibia account if you cannot access the corresponding email address!
If you do not receive automatic emails when signing up or when using the
Lost Account Interface even though your email account is active, please check if your mailbox is full. Furthermore, you should make sure that your email spam filter does not identify the email as spam and blocks it.
