he update is just around the corner, and already we have presented to you many of the exciting new features. But there is even more to come than mysterious islands, bloodthirsty pirates and cool outfits! Among many other things, this summer's update will also bring a revised account recovery process.

Starting with the update all present account personalisations will become invalid. Do not worry, though, because now you can register your accountinstead. Account registrations offer many advantages: They can be changed later on, so you can make sure your registration is always up to date. Also, registrations are open to everybody, so from now on all players will be able to get their very own recovery keys! Most importantly still, for a small fee users of registered accounts can request new recovery keys, which are sent via postal mail to the address that is given in the registration. No more ID copies, no more letters to CipSoft - it's simple and it's safe!

The new registration system will be available with the summer update. We strongly recommend you register your accounts as soon as possible to profit from the improved protection provided by account registration! Remember, however, to write down your new recovery keys carefully, as they will be only displayed once during registration. Also, make sure to give correct and complete information when registering to make sure you receive our letter in case you request a new recovery key.
Letters containing personalisation data will be accepted normally for a transitional period of 28 days. Please understand that we will not accept such recovery letters after 28th of August 2006.
