lmost 2 months ago, we have released this year's summer update. As the voting has shown more than 80% of our players are happy about the new features and love exploring the newly introduced Ice Islands and the snow-covered city Svargrond.

Rather controversial have been the opinions about the vocation balancing. Some sorcerers and druids have been disappointed to have reduced powers now while most knights and paladins were satisfied with their increased strength and several new spells. Still, we believe that this has been a necessary development considering that especially high level magicians have been way too strong before the update. Moreover, as we have already said the vocation balancing is not finished yet and it is already a large point of our agenda for the Christmas update.

A great success has been the newly introduced arena in which players can prove their strength and obtain treasured items. Also the exciting Ice Island quests, the cool Norseman outfit, many new items and challenging new creatures have found favour with the majority of our players.

All in all, the summer update proved to be very successful. Only one week after the update, we could celebrate a new record with 58,116 players online at the same time. At the end of July we have finally crossed the magic number of 100,000 premium players who are able to fully enjoy all aspects of the summer update and the numerous other premium features.
