n January, 7th 1997, 18 years ago Tibia came into the world. 18 years of highs and lows. 18 years, filled with lots of laughter, lots of fun, but also lots of tears. 18 years full of emotions, surprises and fates.

This month, Tibia turned 18 years old. Happy Birthday!

That is indeed a milestone. At this age, most people in Germany get their driving licenses, are allowed to participate in elections for the first time and can go out at night for as long as they want. All in all, with 18, you are full-aged and officially considered to be an adult, at least in Germany.

However, sometimes the age on your identity card or passport might differ from your "true age"- "true age" meaning the development stage of your personality, but not in a really serious way. Some of you probably know "Your True Age" quizzes from Facebook or other social media platforms.

What is your Tibian age?

Baby:

You just came into this world and you are not very experienced yet. You are very curious and want to explore the world as fast as possible. You are unafraid but you need to be careful. Being fearless can be very dangerous. Your naivete and greenness can easily get you in trouble. Nevertheless, you live your life with the greatest of ease and you should absolutely enjoy this period of your existence.
Light heartedness and playfulness are important virtues of your personality. This world has lots to offer and to explore for you, but be warned: The day will come for you as well when you have to grow up. Though, until this day has come, you should enjoy your time doing whatever pleases you unless it is too dangerous!

Teenager:

Full of zest for action you want to show the world that you are made of steel. You do not know any fear. You prefer to think with your heart and not with your mind. You prefer to solve your problems on your own and you only seek advice if you desperately need it. Generally, you think you know things better than the rest, even if it is obvious that you are wrong.
